Utru Nokku- Stage drama 

 Utru Nokku is a drama written by Sahithya akademi award winner S.Ramakrishnan, Tamil writer was performed on February 14th at Media Department, Loyola College, Chennai. Ramakrishnan is a full-time writer who has been active over the last 27 years in diverse areas of Tamil literature like short stories, novels, plays, children’s literature and translations.

The drama is about the lovers these days, the encounters faced by them, and how it is understood by the people who see it. There are few characters whom are known as " the four who talks in four different ways" in the form of music.These characters continue to share gossips from the beginning to the end of the drama.

The drama is not totally against lovers but also supports true love.The drama gives an idea about the love in the present generation.The role played by the important characters like the parents creates an emotional attachment between the audience.

The drama is apt for the present day culture and society. Watching such dramas is a good experience to the students of the present generations to know more about the society and also develops love towards literature and art.
