VEEDHI VIRUDHU VIZHA 2020 The "Veedhi Viruthu Vizha" 2020 was conducted on 11th and 12th January 2020. It's a festival to honor old traditional art forms and enhancing the interest in traditional folk arts. It was an opportunity given by Loyola College and the leaders of the folk art forms to other artists. More than 7000 folk artists exposed their talents to the common public in the festival. Those who entered the college could feel themselves in a village atmosphere during the festival. Folk arts from all parts of India were performed. I was able to remember few of the folk art forms like Balakaragam which was performed by a 5 year old girl all the way from Dubai. "Bala" the word itself means infant. Interactive session with Gnana serukku movie crew Unlike every other interactive sessions we have with the members of the crew of various movies, the Gnana Serukku movie crew was a different experience. They spoke about how a good team can work on it's own time produce a feature film. They spoke about the difficulties they faced to produce the film. The main character of the movie passed away even before completing the shoot and how they had to change the script and the challenges faced during editing and how they had to take a break in between the flow of the shoot as they had very less budget to complete the film. How their friends were helpful giving their financial and moral support to the team. They spoke about their experiences how they reduced the budget by making their own tracks instead of renting them.                   INTERNSHIP REPORT The internship opportunity I had with Zee Tamil television channel  was a great chance for learning and development. Therefore I consider myself to be very lucky to be a part of it. I was also lucky to meet wonderful people and professionals who led me through the internship period of May 6, 2019 to May 15, 2019.  I joined the day before the shooting of the first episode of Saregamapa Show Season 2. We were allowed to watch how they build the set at Prasad studios. We, the interns were asked to coordinate along with the professionals there to maintain order along with the contestants and their parents. We were asked to do the tasks they give us and developed great friendship. By midnight, the judges in the Great jury were leaving one by one and I was asked to be a part of the Great Jury and also was asked to invite my Musician friends through my influence, being a singer. OUR NATION- OUR SOLDIERS AND THEIR SACRIFICES Right from our childhood we have been taught about the sacrifices of great leaders of our country and other parts of the world in school. It creates a great respect towards them among usn and some stand as an inspiration to many of us. We all know only about the leaders and the soldiers who worked as a team but none of us know about each individual, their sacrifices they made for this country. Our country has three types of armed forces, The Air Force, Naval force and the Army. They are categorised in various levels according to their positions. Each soldier has to endure the obstacles in the training they undergo. They stay alert all the time waiting for an information, and as soon as they get the information they sacrifice their sleep, food and health for the sake of our country.
